here Canada what I think of you cockerels;

Cockerel 1 ; good type
nice feathers coloring ,nice copper coming through .
nice hackle.
well marked chest
long wide and flat back
great shanks feathering and color
pretty face .solid head well colored eyes for his age.
nice comb and wattle.

cockerel n 4;
I like his type .well erect ,solid on his strait feet ,well put together bird,
solid head ,a little flat and long.
eyes a little darker .they ll change .
comb great
hackle well colored
shoulder nicr red coming through
strange shank well feather and colored . great size.
long well stretch flat back ,nice width at the shoulder.
nice tail well formed not too long like the others. and not too high ,
nice deep and wide chest ,sign of meaty type.

he s ging to be leanibg to the darker side but let see .in fews month from noe

I like him a lot, big boy ,well long and stretch .
Mahogany is his asset .going to be nicely colored wen adult .nice red copper .
nice comb well serrated .and shaped .
nice wattles ,well formed
long .solid ,well curved neck . well colored and flamed .
long flat back

what I don t like about him is a white feather on his tail and wing .they should go away after molting if not watch .
over feathered feet.

Here my thought on the pullet .
great type.
nice black
good copper hackle coming through
great ,great head shape .solid.
long nice flat back.
nicely feathered shanks .happy with a middle toe been featherless ..

I m having a problem with they tail .they are in a bad position tail down.

she s a keeper for sure.

too much feathers on his shank.thin and tall.

Number 5 is my favourite. I just love his colouring.

Chickengr .it is nice to joint forces with other breeder to exchange genetic and information .

to fix the comb you need one of the 2 parent breeder with a nice comb. hatch a lot ,do a lot culling and you will be left with some few with nice comb.

let say the rooster have a nice comb MATE him with chosen hen with a bad comb= you will get some pullets with a nice comb ( maybe just a few pullets )
mate his pullets with a nice comb to they fathers to get the 2end generation F2 pullets and cockerels with a nice comb.

any fault can be fixed with a good breeding plan, space,and rising a lot chicks from a breeding pair .

I Like the way you feed your chooks .all home made ,No supermarket stuff.
