We have some really nice birds and eggs this year for sale. Bev Davis X Wade Jeanne lines. We breed toward the SOP, and toward large, dark eggs. The birds are docile (usually very friendly) smart & non-aggressive- they get along very well in mixed flocks with bantams and other LF breeds.

Currently for sale:

Hatching eggs:
$3.75 per egg. Laying about #6-7. Some eggs will be #5's (depending on where they are at in their color cycle). The birds have been laying nonstop since Jan., so some could possibly be light right now- they have darker genetics though.

Our eggs took won top awards in Modesto, plus, the Texas state fair this spring. Please PM me if interested. They go quickly, and once they are gone, this will be the end of our hatching for the season.

One 1 1/2 YO BCM DARK egg layer. $75.
Hens laying this dark are rarely offered for sale. Lovely hen with copper hackles, nice shanks, correct eyes, with straight comb. Should be showable in Spring (bit of molt right now.). Fabulous type, nice tail angle. Comes from a multiple show winning line. Lays a gorgeous, large, #7 spotted egg that we have won with at a few top Marans egg shows.

1 YO BCM Dark egg layers breeders $50.
Very good type, some have more hackle than others. (All females express some hackle. Depends on the coloring of your male wether to purchase darker females, or more hackle.) Some have more or less shank feathering. Really nice. Some lay darker than others. Some lay larger eggs than others, some have more spotted eggs. This lovely young hen in this shot is currently for sale and is a show worthy gal.

1 YO Dark egg layers (nonbreeders) $30.
Great for backyard birds, and olive eggers. Breeders, juveniles, hens, pullets. They likely have a visual flaw that keeps them out of my breeding flocks (like an overmelanized hen), but still are pretty, and lay nice eggs. Most will lay only #5-6 in color.
