The tile floor echoed with the thumps of a middle-aged man running down a long white windowless hall way, his lab coat swaying behind him. The man unlocks the thick metal door at the end of the hall, the door revealing a large futuristic room full of computers, wires, and scientists but he didn't care about any of that as he stared at the long row of young humans strapped into bulky steel chairs with many wires attached to them. The humans had on strange looking helmets that the man had designed himself, the humans in the chairs were asleep and they ranged from ten to twenty, younger minds were much easier to manipulate the man had always said. The man looked at a female scientist who was holding a chipboard and he made a annoyed cough to get her attention "Julie, I was told they were starting to stir is that correct?" He asks with a small smile, trying to hide his excitement "The scanners read that they all will be waking up very soon, Sir-" the rest of what the scientist named Julie was trying to say was silenced by a groan. The man quickly jerked his head towards the sound, everything was dead silent in the room no one dared to make a sound as they studied the mans expression, then suddenly a wide smile spreads across his face as he looks at a young girl's whose face is scrunched up with sudden emotions. The man walks straight in front of her and looks at her with a cold wicked smile "Unit X001, my first...volunteer how fitting for you to be the first to wake" he chuckles as her eyes fling open and a look of pure rage blazed in her aqua green eyes as she meets the mans eyes. The girl stares at the man for a long moment before spitting in his face "You think you're safe because I'm in these restraints Charles well you have another thing coming" the girl snarls viciously at the man, but he just chuckles "I've missed your spirit, Crystal" he says simply as he wipes the spit off his face "Once everyone else wakes, you will see how useless it is to fight me" Charles says coldly as he steps back to watch the rest of his work start to wake up.

Summary:
Charles Times is a top neuroscientist who was given millions of dollars to find a cure of paralysis because he is well known for his theories and help to make more effective artificial limbs. After he finds the cure he is tasked by the government to do secret human experiments. He gets a large lab hidden deep underground and he happily goes through with many experiments on humans from ages 10-20. Charles has put the experiments in a machine that put them into a hibernating state, while in this state the experiments appear in a cloudy space by themselves where they are put though trials of their worst fears or memories. When the experiments wake up they don't remember anything about the trials they went through, only the cloudy space. Some of the experiments have died while others have gone completely insane and most don't have any memories at all, only a lucky few have their memories and mind

Lab:
The lab is an underground facility that has five floors, the first one has the elevators that brings you down and there you'll find rooms for facility to stay because leaving the lab is rare for those who work here, the second floor is where they store the weapons and supplies for the lab here, the third is where they store data, the fourth is where training rooms, experiment rooms, and the cafeteria can be found, and the last floor is where the cells for the experiments are. Now above the lab is a mostly empty building that only houses the elevators but it's located in a dense forest where there are large stone walls five miles away from the lab and always has guards posted there.
Experiments:
Each experiment has a number that is tattooed on to the back of their neck, this number is what the experiments are called by and it's also their cell number. All numbers start with X00- the number that follows this is usually determined by when you got here, example: you're the fourth experiment to get there your number will be X004
It has been observed that when the experiments sleep they often appear back in the cloudy space, the scientists are still trying to figure out why.
Since the experiments live alone in small cells the only time they can talk to other experiments is when their in a training room or in the cafeteria.
While the people were in the chairs, they were in a cloudy place for six months that gave them many trials but what they didn't know was that while this was happening their brains were unlocking once unreachable parts of it's self that will cause unusual abilities that they well learn they have once they wake up.
The abilities are:
A faster and stronger mind: This isn't really an ability it's just something that the experiments have, it helps with all other abilities
Make iron armor: This ability allows the user to make spiky or smooth iron armor to cover their skin. The way this works is still being tested but it's believed that the iron in the body quickly expanded out and around the skin in a defensive technique. All experiments have this ability
Faster healing: This ability is what it sounds like, it heals the experiments body much quicker than a normal humans. All experiments have this ability.
Stronger senses: Again is what it sounds like, experiments senses have been enhanced. All experiments have this.
Animal form: This a strange ability like iron armor. Each experiment has it's own animal form they can go into, the scientists are unsure why they all have different animals, not one experiment has the same animal as another but it theorized that the animal form is chosen by an animal that the experiment has a close connection to.
Now you're wondering if they can do all this why don't they escape already, well you see the experiments must wear a thick metal collar that digs into their neck. The collar blocks the new signals the experiments brains have learned and are trying to send to the nerves to use an ability. The only time the collar comes off is in the training rooms.
