Hello Everyone,
I am moving to Ontario from BC come summer. I will have a small flock of silkies with me. I have a guard dog and plan on using the same metal mesh fencing I use for my rabbit cages. I do have a guard dog who lives out side year round who has chased bears, and treed two cougars for an entire night. Is there any otherpredatorsin Ontario I need to worry about? and how can I help protect my flock from them?

Having that dog will help greatly. There should be mostly the same predators except in BC you may not have had fishers, martens or nearly as many raccoons as in Ontario.
Least, longtailed weasels and mink are a real pain cause they can get into such tiny openings (1"), are fast and will kill every bird if they get in.
Here's your list.

Where we live in bc there aren't any predators smaller then a cyottee. I read tracks, and go hiking durring the day even at night and I have laied food out to try and get photos but I don't see anything other then big predators. No signs of any small predators, haven't seen any hawks either only seen ther esidentual eagle pair
