I took in two new chickens this week and while they look like Welsummers, they lay tinted colored eggs; very light brown. After researching different breeds, I'm at a loss for these two girls. They've laid everyday since I brought them home on Wednesday, but they are very flighty; beautiful birds though. There were four others too, who looked the same, just lighter in color. 
They had came from a person who could no longer care for his chickens and needed good homes. I'm blessed to find they are great layers! Definitely happy with both of them.
