Infertile?

I'm not seeing anything in there, but I wouldn't call it for sure until day seven. Other things to consider, how old were they when the hen began to sit? Are temps in your area still below freezing and could they have frozen? Is she an especially small bantam that the rooster may have had trouble fertilizing due to the size difference? Is she of a fluffy breed? All these things could be playing a role here.

I saw them mate and she lives in a greenhouse. She is old so I was hoping to get chicks out of her since she'll die soon. She is a Silkie mix, so she doesn't have the Silkie feathering.

If she's old that can also be playing a role. And also how old were the eggs when you put them under her?

One a few days and the other I found under her at the time. I got the eggs maybe 2-3 days after they mated.

Here's the photo at a different light level. I think I see something.

Sorry, but I still don't see anything. This is what a developing egg on day 5 looks like:

It's alright. I'll give it until Thursday and crack them open to see if anything was ever there (doubtful). I'm going to try with my EE and RIR rooster to make olive eggers.
