Chick died about to hatch? Please help!

I work on a special farm and we have built an incubator a few weeks ago. On Monday this week, one of the eggs was about to hatch and I saw the chick moving but the next day it looked like it died. I've candled a couple of the other eggs and I didn't see anything move. It's our first time doing this.

What we used for making the incubator:
15 watt light bulb
Tin tray
Dish mat
styrofoam cooler
cord and socket for the light bulb
Temperature and humidity monitor
glass picture frame (for the window)
duct tape to put around the "glass frame window"

Please give me some tips about this. Thanks.

What could have happened is shrink wrapping. It happens all the time, sadly. When using an incubator, you'll need to increase the humidity in there when they hatch so this doesn't happen, otherwise, as soon as they pip, the inside would dry out and shrink, killing the chick.
Sorry to hear about the poor thing!
