Sounds like you are going to have one cadillac coop! You are getting some great ideas and advice. Try to keep your plan fluid because you are going to change things as you get more chickens. I think one of the most important things for you to plan for is to make this coop easy to clean out! One of the biggest problems that I did not see coming when I built our coop was predators. We forgot to close the coop door a couple of times and lost everything to racoons our first go around. I learned quickly that anything will eat a chicken. Now we have a hot wire on top of the fence. So far nothing has tried to go under the fence.
