Well the box isn't totally enclosed, so they get the circulating air of the room that the box is in, and I also allowed the paint to fully dry in the sun before using it.

If you are scare of fumes, find some other way to color the inside of the box. Glue fabric, or colored paper to the inside.

Mommy to a 8 yr. old girl, 4 yr. old boy, one fat cat,  one dinky dog, polish, buttercups, hamburgs, waydonettes, and cochins, 10 silkies, a sizzle, Barred Rock and 2 d'uccles.
Need a chicken,duck, goose, parrot diaper or chicken saddle?  I also make harnesses for leashes.  Check in the Everything else for sale. Lovemychix.

very cool!  Imagine the fun you could have with colored light bulbs too!

Sharing my madness w/ one awesome DH, 2 dogs, 5 cats, 6 guinea keets, and a bunch of chickens.  I have mainly Wyandottes in 5 varieties, Golden Comets, Black Sex-Links, BR, and EE.  BLRW little ones are getting big now, still too early to tell most boys from girls or vice verse.

Too many birds! Breeding groups of these for 2013: Silver Grey Dorkings, Red Dorkings, Wheaten Marans, Blue/Black/Splash LF Cochin, Saxony ducks, Muscovy ducks, Embden geese. Ohio NPIP certified #31-425.
