Right now we have our Turkeys in a 6x12 dog kennel covered with a tarp to keep them from flying out. We would like to increase their space, but am unsure of how to do this and be able to cover it...anyone have any ideas?

Alot of people use Avain netting but get ready for "sticker shock" when you price it, it isn't cheap. but it's lasts a long time
We use deer netting from Lowes in our covered pens, it's much much cheaper but it gets brittle and tears easy after about 3 years.

The best way that we have done it is to weave chicken wire together with bailing wire to get the width you want and cut to length. We get the cheap 2" stuff and at our friends house that we did this at his roof is still there after 8 years with no big problems. seems every where after the winter he has to fix a couple holes that were caused by branches or what not, but again just sew it back together with bailing wire.
Plus it is cheap if you go to farm store and buy it in a 150" x 4" roll of the 2" stuff is only 35 bucks here and that makes alot of roof.
