Weatherman predicted 5-11" for us, but we may have gotten 2". It was supposed to start about 4 am then get a wintry mix by 8 or so. This afternoon was supposed to bring another round of snow. It actually misted all night and morning, about 11:30 am it started to snow.
The girls were glad to be released from the coop this morning, and I did notice some were wandering around the yard instead of staying under the shed. I wired a heat lamp to the coop fence for some extra heat, ( I worry) so they should be fine.
Weather is supposed to warm up above freezing tomorrow so everything should melt.
I don't mind the snow, just don't like ice. I never lost power from last weeks storm, but all my family did. Lost several tree branches, and one pulled my power line down, it is still about 5' above the ground. Electric co says it will be next week before it can be fixed.
