I saw my in-law's in increments over Christmas. I dealt with the younger sister on Friday night and they backed over 2 of my special made candy canes ( who cannot back out of a driveway that is lit up like a runway with candy canes--only ones who thinks they are a genius). We had to find it the next day. The oldest sister came in on Sat and bought her 2 granddaughters and my DD and Haley and Kirsten played "catch the kittens if you can" with Toby and Angel. The girls were entranced by a duck living in my house, BTW the other sister who claims to know a lot more than me about poultry could not even tell I had a Grey Call baby in the house ( they did not stay long)

. Christmas Day we had lunch with my m-i-l and dinner with my wierd family:lol:. Can anybody top me?

Well as I was pulling the turkey out of the oven my drunk brother-in-law showed up with his drunk (uninvited) friends, a married couple who clearly are heading to divorce court. I tried to be nice and ignore their constant bickering for about 10 min. I then walked into my living room told them if there was to be any fighting on Christmas in my home me and hubby would be doing it, so kindly shut-up. Then as I'm getting everything into serving dishes etc. I hear the husband of this couple say "I was told before I got here that dinner was in 10 min. its now been half an hour" well my hubby was cringing because he knew my nerves were worn very THIN by these idiots I walked into the room, a pin could be heard (my family knows Iam very outspoken, and say whats on my mind) I looked at this guy told him I had not invited him to my home nor for dinner I was happy to have them eat with us even though the came unannonced, but since he was the rudest nastiest man i had ever met to get the *&**&&^ out of my house! Then my family and I enjoyed a nice meal.

God so loved the world, he gave his only Son to die for us, so we could live......Way to go....Rock on!

We got to my inlaws around noon.
My SIL and her daughter and a friend got there a bit later.
My SIL's daughter then decides that her friend needs to leave to get to the bus right as the food is ready to go on the table because she doesn't want him to have to wait too long.
So now my MIL's po'd. And my SIL was PO'd because her daughter was getting into a snit. DS was po'd because it was taking so long to get to the presents and DH was getting po'd because his mother was complaining and FIL was getting po'd because his wife was complaining...
I was the only one not po'd about something...thanks to antidepressents.

Yea, nothing much bothers me, too, thanks, AD's. The down side is that the more I am not irritated, the more I see how irritated my DH is about everything! He is driving me nuts with all the things that irritate him.
