can chickens eat calf manna?

I'm feeding it as a protein supplement to my laying mash for the hens, a small portion of manna to the mash. Actually, our hens do not relish it, but peck at it a little, consuming it over a week's time. Even if they don't dive in to it like they do their morning oatmeal, I think they are getting some additional good nutrition with it, especially here in the colder winter time. I haven't seen any notable changes, no runny poops or other dire signs of a problem with it. If you really want to make them happy chickens in the winter time, cook them a big bowl of hot Oatmeal and throw in whatever veggies you had left from dinner the night before or scrambled eggs from breakfast. Then, Katie, bar the door, stand aside and don't get in their way when they charge the warm treat on a frosty morning! Mine get it all over themselves and spend the next hour cleaning one another's faces and hackles. ~G

Calf Manna has the poultry amount to feed right on the bag..mine eat it fine.We always have it since we feed it to our horses but if I didn't I would buy it for my chickens especially now it's cold here.
The ingredient list isn't Calf Manna though that you posted

I was at TSC and seeing Calf Manna gave me a big ol' smile. I used to keep some of it in my pocket as a kid and eat it! Tasted good too! There was a hint of licorice of all things, plus a bit salty. I was almost tempted to buy a bag.
