Whats the best Tasting chicken around?

Quote:
It was a survey. I know everybody's tastebuds are different but if a majority votes one over another then it's worth trying.

I wasn't trying to be snippy, it's just very subjective, is all. You can ask 12 people and get 12 different answers. But good luck with that, anyway.

You may have seen this already, but here's a link to Feathersite's info on La Fleche. http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGK/LaFleche/BRKLaFle.html

Some
of the photos have the owners of the birds posted, it's possible you may be able to contact them through Feathersite's owner. He may still have email info from when they sent the pics, though it may be out of date by now. Just a thought, if you can't track some down. Or you might try through ALBC, they may have a list of breeders.

I wasn't being defensive Dancingbear, I apologize if it sounded that way. I just figured since it was such a big survey that there could be some truth in there. Thanx for the info on the La Fleche. I hadn't seen it. I'm very new to this site so I've not learned the navigation yet.

Try to buy eggs then hatch them yourself. You might like to try the La Bresse some say that they are the best tasting chickens around. They are a fairly rare and expensive french breed also.
