you are bad !!!! if I was not so freaked out - my mind would have been a little faster I might have thought of something, but when you see an officer run across your front drive in a bulletproof vest, face mask, and all his gear - you run for cover in your house and watch from the window LOL

you should have videotapped it. I love things like that. I feel sorry for those dogs and wish I lived closer to you. I have no fear of dogs. I would try to slip over there and give them some food and water
 
I talked DH into looking in the kennel while he was heading to the car - he said the dogs are gone - someone must have moved them last night - I cant tell if anyone is home or not - but if they abondon (sp) that kennel I will see if the landlord will let me have it - it would make an awesome chicken run for my bantys - tall enough for me to walk in it even with a top on it - they also have a shed/playhouse thing over that I would make into a banty coop it is pretty good sized, have to wait and see whats going to happen now.

They might have been dealing meth, but I have smeeled meth labs in neighborhoods and they have a VERY strong sweet smell that you can smell from a few houses away. When we lived by the beach I had to call the police on two meth labs in residential and by a school!

I've heard that Meth smells like cat pee...

We had a garage lab blow up at the end of our dead end street...

Talk about ears ringing...

The people got in the cars and took off and they didn't come back for a couple of days.

They found stuff from the house a couple of streets over.

I was humming the COPS theme reading this.

Glad that you're alright...sometimes the boneheads decide to go out shooting...we've had innocent people get shot right through the walls of their houses.

I have had a somewhat similar situation with my neighbors. I work 2nd shift and I don't really associate with my neighbors cause I am not home that much. I have notice cop cars around their house before. I assume it was because him and his live in girlfriend fight. Well last sunday when I went outside to get my paper out of the paperbox I see 3 cop cars at their house again. I saw both him and his girlfriend in handcuffs being escorted out! I thought well if it is just them fighting they wouldn't of taken them both. I never found out why they were arrested got to catch one of my nosy neighbors someday and ask them. It was strange cause he doesn't work, he inherited the house when his Mom died. They had this really nice husky dog they always let bark and such. I too was worried about the dog since I haven't seen either one back but someone has been over there and I haven't seen the dog. Here is southwestern Mich crystal meth is a bigtime problem.
 
well we never did smell anything odd when we were outside - there is no sign of anyone over there from what I can tell -
the kennel is one of those chainlink ones that you put the sides together with clamps so it has open top and bottom it is really tall so it is perfect for what I would want it for.
the playhouse/shed I would spray down with bleach before bringing it over - I might call the landlord and ask him if he knows what went on over there.

but right now I am going outside to play in the dirt I got a few flowers last night and I want to get them planted.
