Here is a pick of my 'pullet.' Can anyone tell for certain that she is a hen?
I tried to get her face, but she is camera shy.

yes that's a she this is the color of the female partridge the male is Black breasted red at this stage of development.

Can anyone tell me at how many weeks the different feathering becomes clearly evident? Tried scrolling through the thread pix but didn't see any really young birds for comparison.

You should have a pretty good idea of their quality around 16 weeks.

It depends if they are hatchery stock or heritage stock. Hatchery stock feathers out faster. Heritage stock can take longer than 16 weeks to feather out. It also depends if you have a male or female line on the males. My female line males do not turn black till after 16 weeks. My male line males are black 5 weeks. There are alot of differances in the stock and lines.
