Partridge Rock Thread

I ordered the mt healthy special #3 and they sent all partridge rocks. When will I be able to see the black feathering that is the cockerels? The partridge rock rooster I have now was given to me as an adult and I have only had partridge rock hens in the past.

I am proudly the new mommy of a 2 week old partridge rock. Got him/her with others from a guy that over ordered from mcmurray. Ordered all pullets. Why does she have a much less developed tail than any other chick I have? Is it a pr thing? I'd hate my luck to pick the 1 PR that was sexed wrong. Thanks

I have 13 Partridge Rock pullets and a male coming from Ideal next month! Can't wait, my poor lil Pebbles was killed by a snake last summer. She was so beautiful. Loved looking at the pics y'all shared, very beautiful birds.

Partridge Plymouth rock x white crested black polish is crazy cute. The look like regular ppr chicks with tiny tufts on their heads, I see a couple with black and one with lacing on the tufted part....i think its going to stay with us

Did you get pullets or straight run?

They look like Partridge rocks. How old are they?

This pullets is rumpless and she is not penciled. She almost looks like she has muffs. Where did you get them? a feed store or hatchery? I almost think this girl might be from a mixed pen with EE in it.

I can't see any penciling in this picture.

They don't look very penciled, slightly more barred, but I wasn't sure if they would develop differently as they get older. They came from a random pullet bin at Rural King, so they could be anything. I was thinking partridge rock based on their appearance as chicks...
