You will be fine.  That's enough for him to handle.

NPIP Certified -115 Chickens, 19 Geese, 19 BR Turkeys, 7 Rabbits, 120 Muscovy Ducks , 9 Guineas, 9 Peafowl, 8 sheep, 1 Goat and currently have 100 broilers to be processed March 2014.  And it's broody/hatching season all over again for 2014.

A common rule or thumb is 5 to 1.  You hear of a few people going higher and having good luck.  My problem is that I want to keep more toms because they all look so nice.  smile

Chickens were fun...until I got turkeys!
Narragansetts, Golden Narragnasetts, Royal Palms, Calico, Standard Bronze, Red Bronze, (and a few BB Bronze..but don't tell anyone!)
Mixed flock of laying hens
Mixed-stock pigs

Two-many horses

That will be a fine ratio.  If he is young, 1-4 years, he should be able to cover a dozen.
