Sexing your Silkies (PICTURES AND TIPS - Updated July-5-12)

Pics
Moose is still by far bigger are its feathering is much more advanced. Mosse is also the more friendly and outgoing one of the two. Harry is smaller less puffy and much more cautious. Harry is much more likely to run from you then come to you.

Silkie #1 is Moose and
Silkie #2 is Harry

Here is an update from last week. We're still pretty clueless! Any help is always appreciated!

Iwould love input on the genders of my sizzle (Wookie, 13 weeks) and silkies (about 11 weeks). Wookie seems like a roo to me based on behavior. He is very sweet but always seems on alert. I'm not sure on the silkies. They seem very 'at ease' when Wookie is around and happily eat while he is on gaurd. The silkies chest bump and get a little rowdy.

It's hard to get a picture of their combs because of the puff. The have small bumps starting.

Please excuse the shavings stuck in their feathers. They look a bit messy.

Any guesses and why would be much appreciated!!!

can somebody please sex these for me

Thank you so much for this information. It is very helpful.
My silkie rooster chases my other roosters( RIR and Buff Orpington) around. He is not agressive but they will not get near him. Is this alright? I know he is just trying to protect his hen, but I feel sorry for the others.
Thanks again.

Hello everyone! This is my pair of 6.5 week old white silkies... I suspect I have a pair or maybe two pullets..

Here are a few pictures of the two as a pair:
I think the one on the left is a pullet and the one on the right a cockerel

left pullet right cockerel?
