I want to try and sit a broody hen on some duck eggs anyone had any luck with that? And what kind of hen did you use?

We got ours from Murray McMurray. I absolutely love their personalities, not flighty but independent. They have made great broody mammas.

My Speckled Sussex hens go broody regularly! Right now I have 3 three that are setting

I have a bantam lakenvelder. She is like 20% broody, but I have eggs that depend on her being all the way broody. What in the heck should I do. The eggs are fertile, and about 3 days old. She has 5 currently. hmm.png

One of my Dark Cornish girls is broody right now, 12 days into setting on eggs. She's the girl that went broody twice last year, I'm hoping she only goes broody once this year. Lol!
