You have to get this perfectly level for the water to work and then sometime it still leaks. You have to monkey around with for it to work. The handle is welded cheaply and busted off...

Leghorns are great egg laying chickens. They are friendly to other Leghorns and can easily fly. The only problems is that they are bad in the pecking order and they can make a mess of the yard....

seem like a good breed, if i had the room i would probably raise a batch of them they seem like they would be a good 4h starter show bird...considering i dont see many of this breed in my class...

Tonight I decided each chick needed its own picture!!

I have 15 Wyandotte chicks! I am still trying to figure out if I have any Roosters so please let me know! I know that the black and white ones are Silver Laced but we ordered and assortment and have no idea which ones are what and what they will look like when they grow up! Any help would be VERY appreciated!

So here are my wonderful chicks! They are 3 weeks old, hope you enjoy the show~!

oooweee, If you ordered sexed pullets, I would complain to the hatchery! Here's the ones that are looking roo to me...#2, #3, #4, #7, #9, #12, #15 & 10 is iffy.

You're scaring me! I just picked up 5 GLW's from the feed store today

The place we ordered from says we get 90% pullets. Now I'm really getting worried........

Congrats on the new chicks!

My SLW were the main ones that worried me. It's hard to tell if their comb is more pink because it contrasts differently with their color.

lol, well dont get attachted to those, sorry about your roosters, sexers arent always accurate

still, they may be an early bloomer hen
