I rescued these 2 from the highway 6 weeks ago today. They were just tiny, yellow fuzz balls then.

Using me as a perch. They 1st started doing this a week ago, when I brought them some food & couldn't wait for me to give it to them & flew into my arms like falcons.

Look at those claws.

Alright Airial/Aero... what's with all the butt pics? Face the camera like Feathers.

Feathers decided to see the view from my shoulder.

I recommend long sleeves for those with sensitive skin. Finally a face pic of Airial/Aero, but he/she is looking down.

Now they got me building this...

Cute! Love the pictures and story. Good for you for taking them in and giving them a good home. It looks like they really love and trust you. Nice work!

@ fishnet1971... Ahh yes, the dreaded chicken math I've been reading about.

I had to resist with GREAT effort not to buy any of the peeps, when I was at TSC buying supplies for my chickies. It appears these 2 have infected me & now my condition is chronic. Not sure how long I got before I succumb to Chicken Math Syndrome, but I know I won't make it after I finish the coop & run.

So you think Airial/Aero is an Airial ? I suspected it might be a rooster, because of the red coloring on its comb where as Feather's is orange. I hope they are both hens. They cry when they get separated from each other. They hate being apart.

So THAT's what happened to me...CHICKEN MATH...I got four Gingernut Rangers and when I went for supplies I decided to get 2 RIR to keep them company...turns out NY state law says minimum is 6...so now I have TEN! My Rangers just laid their first two eggs today! Yeah, I'm hooked....

You should really have a few more because those two will rattle around in that big old coop :D Plus after you taste real eggs you won't be able to stomach those pale commercial eggs. Good for you for rescuing them!
