My peking duck hatched out 3 ducklings and 4 chickens in the last 3 days! All the eggs she sat on hatched! Everyone is doing well! And i had so many people say that she wouldnt hatch them! So proud!! Baby chicks are just hatched and still under mom.

I did not know that ducks could hatch chicken eggs,i thought they would b too heavy.

You may have to take the chicks away to keep them from drowning , they may try to follow their duckling siblings into the water bowl or pool. Congrats on the hatch though the ducklings are adorable.
 
Awww that's too cute. I can't wait to see my fuzzy butts. Make sure you post a picture of them all together when they come out.

yes i thought of that and just have a chicken waterer in there for now. i figure in the next 2 weeks when the babies are old enough to go outside i will separate them. then the ducklings can have a "pool" of water to swim in when i am around.
