Pekin Duck Club!

I opened the coop door this morning and the ducklings ran out like it was on fire despite the torrential rain lately. They're still avoiding the 'pool' like the plague but at least they can still get soaked in mud. One of the water bowls is is about a foot off the floor and still has to be changed twice a day to avoid the quicksand effect. Questions here;
1. Is it OK for them to drink ACV in the chook water?
2. Why are their wings about the size of my thumbnail?
3. Carrie, can you add me to the duck club? It appears I'm in this for the long haul

That's popcorn all over the run. The girls were out free ranging while I did all this and the ducks don't seem to care for it much.

I'm sure in a day or so they will have a change of heart. Mine did.

Hi all! I just found this thread. I have 3 Pekin ducks that I bought at TSC last February. I was lucky and got two hens and a drake! The hens are laying and the drake mates them, but they won't get in their pool anymore. They were using it up until 2 months ago and now I don't know why they stopped??? I set 10 eggs last week and only 2 were fertile, but quit very early on. Is there something I'm missing? I know that's not much info to go on, but I am stumped. These are my ducks: Lucky Duck (drake), Duck Duck, and Cry Baby.

To have just arrived mine are so spoiled they chirp til someone goes and picks them up and sets them on the floor they are running the house. This is their favorite spot not sure why but its cute
