Duck dynasty "carrot call" hilarious!!!

I wonder to what extent DD is for real and to what extent it's staged as a tv comedy show.

Some of it does seem quite staged lately but it cracks me up. They also share good family morals which is hard to find on tv.

This is Floating around on the internet so i am not so sure how tyrue it is but i like to think its true.

People are complaining about how A&E's show Duck Dynasty shows Praying and Using Guns all the time and asked them to remove the show from TV. HaHa Phil said, "If We Cant Pray to God on the show, we will not do the show. God and Guns are apart of our everyday lives to remove either of them from the show is unacceptable." Well A&E signed on to another season with Duck Dynasty UNDER PHIL ROBERTSON'S TERMS.

Yes, it seems like innocent fun. I don't see how they made millions, judging by the small amount of work that's done. There must be quite a few people behind the scenes whittling away with wood cutting tools.

The objection to guns and praying being shown seems odd. The praying is harmless and they haven't shot anyone yet. In fact, all I've seen them shoot is golf balls! No crazy arse guns either.

Thai, the trend in the US has always been to "shoot the messenger," hadn't you noticed? In the electronic media, there is a long-standing prejudice against things Christian. I've heard that way, way back in the 60's, because of the tight shooting schedule, A Charlie Brown Christmas aired before the network had a chance to preview it. It was very nearly pulled in mid-broadcast because of Linus's little sermon. Hard as it may be to believe, there is an anti-gun bias in this country, too. Think about how many "heros" from American popular culture will duke it out with the worst of them, but never use a gun - it's always the bad guys that get the lead flying. I'm a little surprised that the guys on DD have even been allowed to shoot golf balls - just discharging the guns on camera is getting into uneasy territory.
