Sept 2013 Dewlap Toulouse pictures

Glad you had the whip with you. I feel for the stud colts, they dont have a brain as long as they have balls. Amazing how well they behave once they are cut though. I would help my uncle do farm calls and cut colts. Nasty rotten boys before and a few days after on recheck visits they were so easy to handle every time. I have only ever owned mares and geldings, but worked around studs and learned a healthy respect for their power and tempers.

Went back down to feed again this evening took the whip with m and it was so funny. I came to the gate he was back a bit in his pen and just looked like Oh No! she's back. He started to come over and I put his hay on the ground over from the gate. He went over and started eating it. He turned his butt to me and I took the whip and touched it and he moved. So went in and put his feed in the bucket. He then came around and stayed back and just looked at me So I showed him the whip and he backed off. Guess he learned from me stay out of my space. Hopefully???!!!!
Came back in and made dinner then rounded up the sebs and they were acting up again about going in the pen?? They did that last night too. Ron came out and helped me with them and asked what is wrong with them I said I do not know they did this to me yesterday.

I looked in the pens for critter's and nothing. I also looked on top of each pen and nothing. Ron already took care of the raccoon I had found on top of one of the pens about a week and a half ago.
Not sure what is going on with them? They have been going up fine and usually running to get feed.
Unless they are feeling my stress doing everything for right now. It is hard on me doing it all!!!!
