At what age are chickens fully grown?

They mature at about 6 months old, but will put on weight and mature to full "adult" at about 18 months old from what I've observed.

2 months is still a baby.

My chicks are 17 weeks old and a couple of them look almost full grown. Can't wait to see what they look like a year from now.

We are looking to buy him diapers because hes gonna be a house chicken. But we need to know his size.Hes pretty big now.I'd say a bantam size now.But it seems like he has stopped growing within the last week.He grew fast. Its just the lady we got the egg from raises bantams and standard chickens and we dont know..

Isn't it possible for the 2 to mix and get you any size in between? Might be hard to tell what his final size will be if he's a mix instead of a pure breed.

Yep, you can mix standards and banties. Like a silkie with a RIR. It can happen. For him, he's a roo if you didn't already know (comb is too red to be a girl at 2 months), you'll probably want to wait till he's about 6 months to get a diaper for him.
