What brand makes a good incubator for goose eggs? I'm not looking for anything really large, just maybe 8-10 eggs. Do you use a separate hatcher? What has given you the best success?

Brinsea is considered the best brand for small sized incubators. Circulated air is considered better than still air for incubating, but still air is better for hatching.
If you are able and willing to micromanage your incubator, the cheapo Little Giant still air works just fine too. It is pretty important to have a separate incubator for hatching if you are staggering your hatch dates, as you want your humidity to be very dry when incubating (15-20%), but super moist during hatching (75-80%).
Following Pete's waterfowl hatching guide (found as a sticky on top of goose forum) has given me the best success.

Thank you. I was looking at the Brinsea one's but I was unsure how they were for geese eggs. I will look at the sticky.
Ive a brinsea fully automatic incubater that holds 42 chicken eggs and around 20 goose eggs but the automatic moter broke so i had to use my hands and the results with goose eggs were why better
I'd say the brinsea octagons or rcom 20s would be best for the number of eggs you want to hatch. I have both brands and love them. Both work beautifully.
For not cabinet incubators
I have a Brinsea Octagon 40 and have not found it to work any better than the much cheaper Hovabators I use as well.
However I don't like the Hovabator Genesis because mine is hard to regulate and prefer model #2362 but don't know
if the Genesis model is problematic in general. Probably not.
Just make sure whatever kind you get has a fan.
I use a separate still air incubator for hatching out after they external pip.
This is really a must have because temp and humidity is different for the hatching out phase.
