Hello! I am new to artificial lighting with poultry, i used to just have them lay normally. I started selling Coturnix last year and got a whole bunch of people who would like them this year. The only hitch is they would like their day-olds before march 20th. It's the 17th of February, would I have enough time to get them laying with artificial light (I started them yesterday) to have them ready by then?
Cheers,
Finn

Hard to say. Its going to take a minute for fertility to work itself out. I usually don't hatch the first week they lay. The only thing you can do is get them lit up ASAP and hope the fertility hooks up in time.

Birds need to breed for at least 2 full weeks before you have good fertility. Before that, and you may only have a few hatch. So you are pushing the envelop here!
