Yellow Golden Pheasant or not?

Would tend to agree with Tony, but is it possible to get a picture that's a little closer up?

I have to ask this question and I'm not trying to make anybody mad but why in the heck do people sell birds to someone and say they are a certain breed when clearly they are not? Why can't they just be honest and sell them as what they really are. I would be pretty upset if I thought I was paying for a bird and then found out it was something entirely different I'm Sorry but I don't understand.
Depending on how you paid for it you can pursue them if you paid threw your CC or Paypal for item not as described also.
Sorry this happened to you and I feel for you because I have been there.

I think they just want to get rid of the bird and say it's what the buyer is looking for.I won a bid on eggbid years ago for 2 iijima copper hen. When I opened the box and saw 2 totally different hen I immediately called the seller. She said that's the way they are.Well 1 was and iijima and the other was a scintillating.I was glad to get them they were excellent looking birds, but not what was describe in the ad.
In N.H.,Tony.

Yes you may be right but if your going to accept the responsiblity to hatch ANY birds and are planning on selling them you should be prepared to keep them for how ever long it takes and not discard them to whomever. That is horrible practice and then you have people who believe they have something they wanted and then breed it and then all heck breaks out because they are mixing birds. Although like you you knew what the birds were suppose to look like and I think if you are looking for any type of birds there is research involved and I think the more people learn the better off they would be. I do know you have to start somewhere and hopefully this is where they will learn.
Ps I still think it's shitty people do that

What about this one is she a red golden hen she seems to have a coloured crest. Sorry no better picture
