Please advise...what is SBEL?

Super Blue Egg Layer. Essentially a type of EE. Generally a blue egg roo over a white leghorn. (There is some discussion about SBEL vs "Sapphires" with the difference being the latter uses a legbar over leghorns and SBEL uses an Ameraucana roo over leghorns.)

White with black dots. SOme have more dot than others...can have clean face or muff beard. I'll find a pic.

Here is an adult, not very close up though, the white one...

Dang that is all I could find---but the black dots are really sparse.

Thank you!! My little one is yellow with a little black dot. I'm really hoping for a girl! Cute coop!

The big question...what are the eggs like?

If you use a purebred ameraucana rooster (not an EE), you will NOT have yellow skin and the chicks will be sex linked - pullets have slate shanks (right in pic)and cockerels have white (left in pic). They have white feathers with varying spots if a white LH hen was used.

Is there any chance that you could get a barred chicken from a SBEL cross? I purchased my SBEL eggs from eBay and I hatched a few white birds with leghorn combs, one white with a pea comb, and a barred bird with a leghorn comb. Since I purchased the eggs on eBay, I'm not sure if I got what I ordered.
