Can we add a stray duckling?

We adopted two day-old ducklings a month ago. They had been meant to be eaten as steamed fertilized duck eggs (we live in Cambodia) but luckily for them they hatched before they became a snack. A friend of ours just found a baby duckling wandering the streets of Phnom Penh and it seems likely that this little guy escaped the same fate. Our friend lives in an apartment and can't keep the duckling much longer.

My question is: can we take this new duckling (it's about ten days old no) in with our month-old ducks? We are fairly confident that one of our ducks is a drake (he's twice the size of the other one) so I don't know if that complicates things.

I've just picked up the new duckling, It is very sweet and very small. I am a bit concerned because a friend who has raised ducks looked at him and said "that's a boy." He says he can tell because it has a big head, big shoulders and long body. If this turns out to be true and we have two boys and one girl, what can we do? Will it definitely be a problem?

Can you post a pic of your new duckling maybe we can help with sex. 2 drakes and 1 duck would not be good for the duck, over mating can be a real problem. But I wouldn't think about that yet, just keep this lil one with in eye shot of the other 2 but so they can't get to it. It needs to be able to take care of itself before it goes in with the others but if they can meet and greet through fencing it will help alot when time comes for them all to be together. very sweet of you to take it in.

I'd say the one outside the water is a drake looking at size of legs and body shape. can't tell with the other one, can you get a better pic also a view from front looking straight at them. Drakes legs are set farther apart under their bodies. legs are thick, over all body longer, ducks legs set closer together almost step on their own toes when walking and they are shaped like an American football body wise.

Here's the new duckling:

And here are the older two:

So glad you got that little one, looks like it may be Black Swedish but as for telling sex I'm thinking you may have to wait a bit. Can you introduce the 3 through fencing so they begin to get use to each other? How much bigger are the other 2 to this one.. Their all so precious.

Here's a photo of how big they are now. As you can see, the brown one is much bigger than the black one, so we think he's a boy.

My friend used to keep ducks here in Cambodia and he swears he can tell that the little guy is a boy. I guess we will have to wait a month or two and see if he's right!
