I have a pip! a pip!!!!! and it's from my "special" egg too!!!!!!!! eggna..the shell is just cracked and pushed out of alinement a bit and it is 1/4 of an inch from My X mark the spot pip spot

Yay!!! Now your hooked lol

Give it some time, it just needs to crack the shell to be able to breathe.  It will probably take a rest before it makes the hole bigger.


X's 2! That's exactly what mine look like at first. You thought the wait would kill ya before.... Just wait this part of the waiting is worse for me.

This is the one that I helped cause she was malposition. . Do you guys think she is going to be OK?.. she moves and peeps a lot.. But it doesn't seem to have much strength in her neck to hold her head up. . I put her on the brooder already. . It seems like all the yolk and membrane from the egg was too dried. .

Do you guys think that she is going to be OK?.

Pretty chick! I would keep her in the bator until she is out of that shell. If it is really dried up, I would use a q-tip and try to put ointment on the areas where the bird meets the shell and wrap her in a warm damp washcloth or paper towel to try to loosen things up so she can get out of the shell by herself.
