BYC's 15th Annual New Year's Day Hatch-Along—2024

An animal scared my broodies off their nests yesterday and made away with two eggs. I fired up the incubator in the morning to salvage the hatch and now they are in there while I fiddle wuth the temperature.

Candled and one of my big blue eggs seems to have developed a blood ring whereas 3 other eggs don't seem developing at all. Will crack it in the morning and report back. Just turned them for the night!

& today's update! found another blood ring. Then dropped and cracked it on the floor by accident agsvfagafag

We are now down to 10 eggs! GROW MY EGGS, GROW!!!

One of my Silkie crosses is being broody now, so I'm unsure if I should try to sneak baby chicks under her when the time comes or... just leave it be. Eggs seem to be doing well on my end except for my Easter Egger

I feel not many are hatching for nyh anymore unlike a few years ago this would have pages filled lol anyways mine are on lockdown i think it was today lol
