will buzzards kill call ducks?

I could also put the cd's on top of the posts and attach them so hopefully they will be to scared to land. What do you think about the spacing?
Now being there shiny that might work. what your going to have to do is get the whole thing the way you like it then stake it out and see what happens while your ducks are out in there. That maybe spaced okay best thing to do now is try it out, do you have a place close by like a window where you can watch without being detected so you can see what goes on. That is such a nice space you have for your ducks, I can see one of your ponys too.

Ok thank you

What i have found to be affective against large birds of prey is to use a large form of bird myself, my geese usually warn away most larger birds but then again buzzards actually nest in my barn so i dont know if they even mind the buzzards.

Point being that usualy if my geese are around hawks dont come near my ducks.

Also haveing ducks that are expierenced with these kinds of things help, for instance my mallards ,when they see a hawk, quack as loud as they can and fly everywhere its like a blizzard of mallards, muscovys, and giant geese.

Haha I can imagine! Unfortunately I am not in a position to take on geese or anything that big! I think I have pretty much covered all areas so hopefully no buzzard! I think they don't g after my bantam chickens because I have standards in there as well, so I will always have a couple of standards in my flock.

I have a lot of buzzards right next to my coop and they don't mess with the chickens or any other bird I have! Although one time I had the back of the coop open and my chicks were in that pen and a buzzard came and almost ate one, so I guess if they had the chance they will rate chicks if unsupervised.
