We got some trees started on and looked at my friend's place for a plan to deal with her blowdowns. Just crazy how many trees came down in spots.
Today, we are off to have dinner with DS@'s family and maybe help him work on his car, but I get to hang with GS, so all is well!

Good morning Cafe! Thanks for the coffee - it is dearly needed today.

We had Mother’s Day dinner last night and my sister is back from South Africa to pick up her pup (which we kept here while she was away on her honeymoon - her husband is from South Africa so they went back there for a reception and vacation).

I did get a chance to see the northern lights here in British Columbia on Friday night and it was pretty incredible! Here are just some cell phone shots.



I planted all my dahlias in the ground yesterday and tomorrow morning at this time I’ll be at the airport - helping teach a marine ecology course the next two weeks, so that should be fun!
