First try on the Rcom pro10- follow along as I review this incubator from out of the box to hatch da

Thanks! I've borrowed my friends for my last two hatches but she needed it back for some parrot eggs. I'm currently giving my crappy little giant a go or two while I save up.

Oh I'm not to sure which one that is, I'll have to have a search later on.

We used to have a square plastic one that had a yellow lid and all we ever hatched from it was deformed ducks.

They all hatched with swollen heads and legs. However, the humidity in that incubator was so difficult to keep stable and every 10 minutes it would either drop or go to high.

It was a nightmare but I guess the price we paid or it was reflected in its quality of hatching.

First breed is coming out today :). Put in 8 eggs. After 5-6 days, 4 not fertile, 1 damaged egg. Went on with the 3 eggs. Untill now I really love this machine. Silent, the automatic moisture, stop turning the last 3 days and then raising automaticly the moisture.

Yeahhhh all 3 came out and healty :)!!

Damn I was away over the weekend and wasn't there to add in the filter :barnie

One chick has hatched and the rest are starting to pip!

Will the incubator be alright without it in?

I know it'll mean more cleaning at the end of it but I don't want it to get damaged and I can't open the incubator now.

Can I ask a question??
I am incubating some ducks eggs part way through there incubation. A broody chook did the job for 3 weeks now im taking over with the rcom 10 pro.as she abandon them and they are still viable. What do I set the ANG for duck eggs. Cant find what they use in the Auto mode for ANG. The other option I wondered about was to set it a Ducks auto and reduce the numbers but don't think I can do that.

I think you'll have to just do the custom incubation and set it to the correct number of days. I've never actually adjusted the Angle setting before. I just leave it at the default.
