[/QUOTE]Hi. I need an ovoscope for turkey eggs. I suppose that Brinsea OvaView High Intensity Candling Lamp will work but I am not 100% sure. Does anyone know what well known models of ovoscopes work well for turkey and quail eggs?
I appreciate any help.
There are a number of these flashlights that are given the same model number but are only 2000 lumens. The one I have is marked as 3000 lumens and is extremely bright but only achieves its maximum brightness with a fully charged battery. As the battery charge decreases with use, so does the maximum output.R2elk, I doubt that this flashlight can provide 3000 lumen but I'll take your link into account.
Yay - glad it worked for you!HEChicken, I tried to candle turkey eggs again and this attempt was successful. I'm going to order Cree XM-L2 headlight (for other purposes) - it must be enough for both quails and turkeys.
Laying is triggered by the lengthening of days more than by temperature. When the days reach the optimum length of light, they will start to lay.I have 8 hens and 1 tom the temperature of my country is 27 degree c and am feeding my turkeys are 8 months old am using artificial insemination, and they haven't start laying by now,am getting down with their feeding because they consume too much daily ,they are high breed turkeys and am after the eggs so that I can hatch sell the poults to feed them, what can I do for them to start laying in time
