Silly girl thinks she is hidden. Not sure how many eggs she has

Speaking of wisdom, my Grandpa back in the 1930s gained wisdom. I don’t recall the price he paid for this wisdom. I assume it wasn’t much but during the depression every nickel counted.

He answered an add that had fool proof method of killing potato bugs.

When he got it it was two small boards. The instructions were to pick the bug off the potato place it on one board and smash it with the other board.

This was relayed to me by my Dad. He said Grandpa was not happy with his potato bug killer.
That would sure do the trick.

That reminds me when I was stealing poults from a hen. I had managed to capture all but one. It wasn't anywhere near the nest but I finally found it. It had found a big old dead cottonwood leaf and stuck its head under the leaf. It thought it was hidden really well. The leaf was big enough that it could have completely covered the poult but all it did was to stick its head under the leaf. It sure looked like a headless poult right up against that big old leaf.

They can be so silly.

Come on y'all! Let's enter! Last day is tomorrow. Lots of dux entered!

Yes, all of you need to enter since I can't!

On a sad note, I'm going to ask for prayers and support for one of our BYC Mods. @sumi is a good friend and a major force behind BYC. She's battling Brain Cancer and could use all the prayers we can give. Here's the thread where we've been keeping track of her. It might be good to read the first post and then the last post made by @TwoCrows. Reading the whole thread would be quite the undertaking, but is still a good read. I'm worried about her and I do believe in the power of prayer.

I don't post much but have been following along and praying. I'm hoping she'll be able to pop back in again soon!

Great pics R2elk!! With a tom that handsome, ya can't blame them! He's gorgeous!

Got chilly again. Storms & tornadoes again tonight through tomorrow. I'm getting annoyed with these storms.

But its sunny now & the girls are enjoying it. They were sunbathing. Had to give Daisy a belly rub.
