how do you introduce a duckling to a 4 week old duck?

Amiga I feel you I am always either outside with them or watching through the window, but sometimes I have to pee

haha Julie next time that is definitely what I'll start with I promise haha. They never leave the front yard without me our backyard is very big and overrun with dry fox or cat tail or whatever those darn buggers are that get caught in my shoes and clothes, but yeah I've just never had them be out of eye range spooked me a bit I forgot there are little preview texts. I love the slurping noises and the little grunts haha!
I would love that. I bug my coworker constantly about what his ducks are doing. Plus I rotate pictures of them that he's emailed to me on my desktop at work. I ask weird questions like, "Does Kensington still quack really loud?" "Does Montgomery still chase the dogs?" "Do Liberty and Tallahassee quack loud like Kensington?" "Are they soft?" I could go on and on but you get the idea.

That is why I love the videos because you get to hear them. I can picture the sound of Marceline's webs slapping around in that rain puddle.

The eye range is important for sure. Those moments when they wander off out of it for a while are scary for sure.

Aweh I'll try and upload a video of them making "music" tomorrow for you :) I'm sure your coworker doesn't mind talkin duck talk they really are fun to chit chat about

Suhweet. I'd love to see another video of those two cuties.

He doesn't mind and he'll tell me stories about how funny they are and their antics. Like one day his wife was home alone with the kids while he was at work and she had taken a shower and after finishing up and getting dressed, came downstairs to two ducks standing at the bottom of the stairs. They are NOT house ducks at all. Apparently one of the kids had left a door open and guess who walked in. Funny opportunistic duckies.

That's funny, one time my dh was sleeping in his recliner and woke up to a chicken standing on the arm of it, she had come in through the doggie door I am very surprised the dogs allowed her to get that far, but very thankful they did.
We've also had our ducks and geese come i when the door was open.

[Video]Quacker snacks:
Here Ya go lovely these are the sweet noises at snack time with chopped up.kale in cool water. When I can I'll try to capture one of their fits they can get very demanding when they believe it's food time

Haha both your stories are very funny, I think my ducks miss being in the house they come onto the porch a lot more and throw a fit at the door but when I open it they run away haha their poop accidents are just too big for.indoors now. Just the way you both described the ducks and the chicken is what happens with my dog Simba once in a while he'll creep in and lay behind the couch all sneaky like I can't tell you how many times I have jumped and let out a tiny shriek from him scaring the life outta me

Very funny Miss Lydia. So the chicken girl just decided it was okay to come in thru the doggie door and perch upon the arm of his recliner. Wow. She is so cute for doing that. And then your ducks and geese just inviting themselves in. Like it is all ok and they can do whatever they want

I. LOVE. IT. They are hilarious. Did you see Gunter scramble out of the pool like that? And are those little trills hers? I loved the sounds she made. And then Marceline's noises coming from her throat along with her rapid gobbling of the kale in the water was the best. Those girls are unbelievable. So cute. Thank you for posting it. I love pictures of course, however, videos are a real treat.

I'd love to see one of their fits. How do you ever get anything done with the two of them around?

Those are funny stories too with your babies. So why would the girls throw a fit at the door only to run away when you open it?!! So silly. My parents' little shih tzu kinda does the same thing and it drives my mom crazy. She is totally a cuddler anyway but many times she'll come up to you wagging her tail, making intense eye contact and when you go to pick her up she just backs away. WHY? I love it.

Julie I have no idea why they run haha they always come up.to me squawking and then when I.go.to pet them they run :/ I have to hold them for them to stay and be petted. Yes Gunter is a pipper sometimes I hear her little weird quack coming through haha. Oh my marceline can get so loud! Butost of the time they just make the noises in the video :) Julie I don't get much done with them around haha I need to clean my room but I can't see them from that part of the house so I mainly clean the kitchen and the living room then it's on to pretending to clean the yard while I play with the ducks haha
