I'm incubating my first eggs and I learnt that my eggs have had too much humidity. the air hole at day 11 is about the size of 7 days. At the beginning my temperature was a little low for a few days so I won't be surprised if the chicks hatch a day or two late. It it a simple styrofoam container with light bulb. I was told to put it water my hydrometer wasn't reliable. I'm not sure what to do right now. I took the water out and will by candling in 3 days to see where the air hole is. What should I do for lockdown on day 18 if the air hole still asppears too small and I need to increase humidity?
