What Chickens Lay Colored Eggs?

Gold Sex-Links look just like Red Sex-Links and some are called Golden Comets. The parent breeds are different than those used to create Red Sex-Links, but I'm not sure exactly what breeds are used. I think it varies from farm to farm.

I had 5 of them and only one layed the lavender eggs, the others layed nice medium-brown eggs.
