Hi all!
So first beginning of this hatch-along, I'm going to fill you in a bit, about what its about.
I have three eggs going into lockdown in two days. Today is almost the end of Day 13.
I can see definite movement in two of the eggs and just pitch black on the other.
One of the eggs are the one with the small crack in it (It's still alive!)
I'm updating this thread everyday, until the chicks hatch, or don't hatch.
Hoping I can use methods I've learned, from previous failed hatches, and ensure I can give everything I can for these chicks.
I'm being extra wary as last time I dropped a chicken egg on top of a quail egg, (Poor quail, chicken eggs are three times it size).
(Small update on chicken eggs, 6/8 seem to be fertile! (They were store-bought and not marked as fertile eggs)
I don't know what day they are on, I wasn't keeping track with the cracked quail egg, all my attention was pouring over it.
From looking at chicken egg candling, I believe it is around Day 3-5.
