Nope ... wait 'til it's dry and fluffy. If you put the brooder next to the 'bator, it'll still hear its' buddies.Should I put the newly hatched chick with the others? It looks so lonely in there. It’s still not fluffy at all.

And I still can't see into the olive eggs with it. Almost like trying to gaze through sheetrock.DH got one as a gift from one of his boys--like a bazillion lumens. Candle fast, because that baby will cook the eggs and burn your hand, and it's not even incandescent.
You could put one of the others in the incubator with your new hatchling. I would wait though, until it's done flopping around and mostly sleeping. Pick the littlest one.
All 16 garbage can eggs hatched!
FYI still air hovabator has the same issues. Plug in the Hovabator into one of these, crank up the hovabator wafer and allow this unit to do the temperature control with it's temperature sensor that turns off the power.. The unit will turn off the hovabator if it goes past a certain temperature. https://www.amazon.com/Zacro-Thermo...words=thermostat+lizard&qid=1586709039&sr=8-9I would have left it alone, but it was already up to 103 and the temp on the incubator had already stopped and regulated. I watched it for a good 10 minutes to see if it would go back down, but just kept going up. This is my old incubator that I was going to try to use as a hatcher that I have been talking about where I have to have the thermostat set at 105 to get it to 99.5/100 inside....so it has me nervous that it is all of a sudden going to decide to work "right" and then spike up to 105. I've read many reviews about this particular incubator having a tendency to temperature spike randomly for long periods of time. I was also beckoned by the hubby to help go move cows, so didn't want to risk cooking them for an hour or more. I got home 2 hours later and it was down to 97. So adjusted it back up to 103.5....and now it is a pretty steady 101 in there.....so off to go adjust it down again and try to find it's new "sweet spot" for temp. I should have a new still air hovobator on the way this week. (I'm not going to stress myself out trying to get this thing to work any longer than I have to.)
A friend found that an escapee hen was laying eggs next to the garbage can. The impressive number is because the sister hen was also laying eggs there with her. You'll have to remind me why you call them that. I imagine they were destined for the trashcan because they were old or dirty or something?
