15 weeks ago we purchased day old sexed reds from the local feed mill. The last two days we have been delivered 2 small eggs. Everything I read tells me that it is a month or so too early to begin seeing eggs.

Thoughts?

Yes, they could be older than you think. otherwise they haven't read the books which tell them when they should start to lay,

my six hens are almost 16 weeks as well and i got 1 small egg the other day but nothing since. the one that laid it has been squaking non stop and squats if approuched but not laying anymore

My red sex-links (golden comets) turned 15 weeks old two days ago. I got the first egg from them today.
