1st time hatching welsh harlequin duck eggs, need advice plz

One more is pipping but thats it. On day 29. If no more do we only got 3 out of 12.

I'd say give them some more time, your temp might have been a little low which would cause a late hatch.

3rd ones out but still attached. Its feathers are hard on its back. Wiping it down with warm water.
Other two are in brooder

Last 6 eggs didnt hatch. Broke them open to see what was inside. They were all formed but dead

1st 3 are doing great.

Sorry the others didn't hatch But I'm glad your first three ducklings are doing well! I'm in the process of building a new coop for mine, lol. Eight ducks is just too many to have living in with my chickens, so they're getting their own house.

I know this is an old thread but I'm just about to incubate some of my welsh eggs (I have adults and teens but no ducklings yet) I've got three eggs under a broody chicken but my shiny new incubator is about to get christened!!
Wanted to point out it's very hard to find duck hatching info online! Chicken hatching info is everywhere, drowning in quail hatching info- But ducks are very under represented!
