23 Week Old Pullets not Laying

Oh, that would be quicker. I rinse them and let them dry and them crush them when I have a bowlful. I use them in my worm composer also.

I've got three 26 week old Pullets, all different breeds and none are laying yet. One has been squatting for a week though

With my younger girls, I have 2 that are 36+ weeks and still haven't laid a single egg yet (my EE and my BLRW). I have 2 that laid a few eggs, but haven't in months due to shorter days I believe, and 2 that are still laying thank goodness!

I believe I read the average age is 27 weeks. That is breed, season, weather and individual bird dependant. Are their combs red and are they squatting for you? If so, you might put some fake eggs in the box as their time is probably near.

Not likely with mixes. When the area around their eyes get red, then they are close to laying. Some breeds are slower to mature than others, but mixes generally lay very well.
