We are selling 6 Marans hatching eggs from our young, healthy flock. My own hatch rate has been great with these eggs and my recent buyers have also reported great hatch rates. I don't know the lineage of my flock as they were a gift to me. These eggs will ship out on Dec. 6th. We pack very well and have never had a broken egg reported.
*Please know that my flock is a clean legged flock, and that even with the flock being clean legged we have still hatched feather legged chicks. The feather legged chick ratio has been around 2:10*
My eggs are a 5-6 on the darkness scale, which is just outstanding coming from a Splash.
