A few pictures of my heavily spoiled meat chickens..

I'm gonna be butchering these sweethearts within the next couple days. I'm trying to prepare myself again, for the big day after so many lovely days of spending time with these friendly and fun little birds. The Cornish Cross has always been my favorite. They are almost like the golden retriever of the chicken world. They just want to get along with everyone... and also get cuddles and kisses! I love going out in the yard in the evening to blaze up and all these balls of fluffy feathers want to come and lay all over me when I'm relaxing in the grass. It's an experience that not a lot of people get to have... but it's been fun! <3

That’s the way to do it. Most people I’ve seen recently treat meat birds like a different species, and don't treat them like creatures. I get it, I treat my animals as pets, some people don’t, and I get that meat birds have a purpose. But to me
they still deserve to be treated well, and loved, and spoiled I applaud you!
