A little garden just for the chickens

Hi

I'm getting ready to build some raised boxes and set them up for year round growth. I've got a pretty real winter so we're limited in what we can get away with.

What kind of northern greens and root vegetables would be good to keep growing year round for treats/good eats?

I am interested in this idea as well. Also need to know how much greens to provide.

Have been trying, but with 61 chickens right now, it is a challenge not having the planters eaten down to the roots. Lol
